EXCHANGE, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION

Flexible Rate: Cancellation or modification can be made without charge up to 48 hours before arrival. In case of cancellation outside this period or No Show, 100% of the reservation will be charged.

Non-Refundable Rate: This rate does not allow modifications or cancellations.

PAID

Flexible Rate: Payment will be made at check-in.

Non-Refundable Rate: The property may charge 100% of your stay at any time after booking.

CHANGES IN RESERVATIONS

Flexible Rate: Changes can be made up to 48 hours before arrival.

All modifications are subject to availability and rate updates.

Non-refundable Rate: This rate does not allow modifications or cancellations.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

For returns and refunds, the transaction fee of the payment method will be applied: 3% of the returned amount for credit card payments and 2% of the returned amount for bank transfers.

MINORS POLICY

Children aged 9 and over are accepted.

Other considerations:

  • Check In: 2:00 PM. At check in you will be asked:
  • DNI / Passport
  • Credit card guarantee (extra charges).
  • Eco Tax Collection: Rates do not include the Iguazú eco tax, which will be charged according to regulations at the Lodge Reception.
  • We work to prevent sexual/commercial exploitation of children and adolescents, committed to developing a healthier and safer tourism for all. Therefore, if you come to the establishment with a minor, do not forget to bring the following documents: If the minor is your son/daughter, you must prove parentage by presenting your ID/PASSPORT (it is valid as long as it contains the parentage data). If the minor's ID/PASSPORT does not contain this information, you must present the birth certificate. If the minor is not your daughter/son, you must present Authorization from Parents or Guardians.
  • Early Check In: Subject to availability, must be booked in advance and costs 1 night's accommodation.
  • Check Out: 10 Hs.
  • Pre-departure: one night penalty will be charged.
  • Late Check Out: Subject to availability, must be requested in advance. The following costs apply:
  • Until 6pm: 50% of the daily rate.
  • After 6pm the full stay will be charged.
  • Overo Lodge & Selva is not responsible for, and will not provide any refund for, portions of travel services missed due to cancelled or delayed flights or third party transportation services and other circumstances beyond Overo Lodge's control or responsibility that may be considered "force majeure" events. This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations and/or delays resulting from weather conditions, road conditions, fires, explosions, earthquakes, drought, tsunamis, floods and general strikes.


  • Argentines: Rates convertible to Argentine Pesos, at the official selling exchange rate of the day of payment of the Banco de la Nación Argentina.


  • Value Added Tax Refund Regime: Decree 1043/2016. General Joint Resolution 3971 and Resolution 566/2016

To apply for the value-added refund scheme, at the time of booking, you must provide each of the following data:

A) Last name and first name.B) Nationality.C) Country of residence.D) Passport number / Foreign identity document.

E) Confirm that the credit or debit card used to pay is issued outside the Republic of Argentina.

If the above information is not received within 24 hours after the reservation is made, the corresponding invoice will be issued with the Value Added Tax, according to national regulations.


  • Eco Tax: Rates do not include the Iguazú eco tax, which will be charged according to municipal regulations at the Lodge reception.


SMOKE FREE POLICY

According to National Law No. 26,687, the property is declared smoke-free.

In case you have smoked in the room, the deep cleaning service will be charged to your account.



RULES OF COEXISTENCE

The information contained herein must be observed and complied with in all areas of the Overo Lodge facilities, without any distinction, in order to achieve better coexistence among all persons visiting the Lodge. The rules stated below are not exclusive of other similar misconduct not stated herein.

  1. To protect your belongings, all Villas at the Lodge have individual safety deposit boxes. Therefore, the Lodge is not responsible for valuables that are not deposited in said box. The amount of liability is limited by law.
  2. Overo Lodge & Selva works to prevent the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and is committed to developing healthier and safer tourism for all.

Therefore, if you go to the establishment with a minor, do not forget to bring the following documents:

  • If the minor is your son/daughter, proof of parentage must be provided by presenting ID/PASSPORT (this is valid as long as it contains the parentage details). If the minor's ID/PASSPORT does not contain this information, you must present the birth certificate.
  • If the minor is not your child, you must present a Parents' or Guardians' Authorization authenticated by a competent authority. If you do not have one, you must present the minor's birth certificate and an authorization signed by one of his/her parents or guardians (this authorization does not require authentication before a notary or public authority).

 

In accordance with this policy, minors under 16 years of age may not remain anywhere in the Lodge without the constant company of a responsible adult.

 

  1. Overo Lodge & Selva does not allow pets.
  2. Overo Lodge & Selva takes a firm position against human trafficking, illegal drug use and disrespect for indigenous cultures. For this reason, these types of behaviors are not permitted at the hotel.
  3. It is prohibited to enter the Lodge premises without express authorization or to fail to report the possession and/or possession of firearms, or other types of explosives of any kind, without exception.
  4. Overo Lodge & Selva reserves the right of admission.
  5. All guests must register in advance at reception. Guests are not allowed into the rooms without registering at the Lodge reception.
  6. Any total or partial damage or deterioration caused to the facilities, accessories, goods, services or supplies of the Lodge and/or any other recipient of these Regulations due to misuse or negligence by the guest or his/her guests will be charged to the guest's account.
  7. Access to the pool and recreation area is exclusively for registered guests of the Lodge.
  8. Overo Lodge & Selva only keeps luggage in storage and is not responsible for items not collected after 30 days, damage caused by fire, theft or any other cause not attributable to the hotel. Likewise, the owner must certify that the luggage stored does not contain money, jewelry or other flammable or explosive items. In the event of false declaration, the Lodge declines all responsibility.
  9. Overo Lodge & Selva joins the "Smoke Free" campaign. In accordance with National Law No. 26,687, the property is declared a smoke-free space. In case you have smoked in the room, the cost of deep cleaning will be charged to your account.
  10. All persons entering the Lodge facilities must refrain from causing, by themselves or through persons for whom they are responsible, any type of disturbance to other guests or visitors or third parties, disorder, vandalism, hostile behavior, disturbances, notorious misconduct, disturbances of order, or performing any act that may affect the tranquility, silence, rest and privacy of the guests. As well as from behaving immodestly, shouting or making notoriously loud sounds that disturb other guests or disturb the tranquility of the Lodge. They must also avoid acting in a rude or aggressive manner towards other guests, companions, visitors, Hotel employees, whether hierarchical or not, and/or even towards their own companions.
  11. It is strictly prohibited, and may even result in criminal liability, to commit acts of violence, psychological or moral intimidation, harassment of any kind, utter threats, whether justified or not, and to carry out any act, exclamation or expression that affects the honour, prestige or psychological and/or physical integrity of any recipient of this Regulation or any employee of the Hotel.

I expressly choose not to receive the information in physical format, but rather in digital format.

All the rules stated above may in no way be interpreted as discrimination against any type of ethnicity, nationality, gender, religion, race, age or political ideology of the recipients, but rather as a suitable means of guaranteeing to all its visitors, guests, clients, employees or third parties, the excellence and quality of the Lodge's services. In no case may it be interpreted as limiting or restricting the individual rights of those who voluntarily enter the establishment, aware of its characteristics, or of the Lodge's power to add rules that complement those established here. This power is inherent to its right of ownership and its responsibility for the operation with respect to the rights of its guests or clients.
