The use of this website is your responsibility, as is your interpretation of it. We are also not responsible for the information contained on other websites regarding the Lodge, as we do not exercise any control over them.

PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENTS

 

1. OBJECT

This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you, as a visitor and/or user of our Site, about the manner in which we treat your Personal Information, and about the various alternatives available to you regarding the use of your Personal Information.

In this sense, the Overo Lodge & Selva, hereinafter "The Lodge", in light of the proposed object, guarantees that the data collected through the Site will always be treated in such a way that the protective purpose enshrined in the protection of personal data is safeguarded.

The confidentiality of private communications between “The Lodge” and users will imply the maintenance of information in files, banks or databases, in such a way that access by users or simple third parties who are not authorized for this purpose is restricted.

 

2. APPLICATION

This policy applies to all sites and services owned and/or operated by “The Lodge” and/or affiliated companies, and to any other site that we may own or operate now or in the future. This policy will not apply if you access sites other than the “The Lodge” Sites, even when such sites are linked to the “The Lodge” Sites by means of links or any other type of link, whether telematic or not.

 

3. USE OF THE PAGE AND SERVICES

The user undertakes to use the www.hotelsaintgeorge.com website and the services made available through it in accordance with the law, morality, good customs and public order, as well as with the provisions of these Terms of Use. Consequently, the user is obliged not to use the website or services for purposes or effects that are illegal and/or contrary to the provisions of these Terms of Use, harmful to the rights and/or interests of third parties or that, in any way, may damage the website or prevent its normal use, or the services accessible through it, by the rest of the users, of “The Lodge” and/or its image.

 

4. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information about you as an individual user, including your full name, address, telephone number, service access preferences, and/or email address (hereinafter "Personal Information"). On our Sites, you may be asked to provide Personal Information in order to facilitate your use of, or participation in, our subscription registrations, access accounts, and/or in connection with any other activities, services or resources we may provide on any of the “The Lodge” Sites.

In all these cases, we will only be able to collect and store your Personal Information if you provide it to us voluntarily. As a general rule, when Personal Data is requested to use a service or access certain content, the provision of such Personal Data is not mandatory, except in those cases where it is specifically indicated that it is data required for the provision of the service or access to the content.

The collection and processing of personal data is for the purpose of providing, managing, administering, personalizing, updating and improving the services and content made available to users by “El Lodge”.

In the event that you provide us with your Personal Information, you agree that such Personal Information may be used to carry out the activities mentioned above. Likewise, in the event that you make yourself known to us by sending us an e-mail, we may request, or use if available, your Personal Information, in order to respond to your e-mail, and if applicable to the request in it, in a more detailed manner. Finally, you agree that we may also archive your Personal Information and/or any other data for future reference, or discard that information partially or totally after having used it. Once you send us your Personal Information, you expressly consent that we may also use Personal Information for internal and external marketing, as well as for promotional purposes.

The owner of the personal data has the right to exercise the right of access to them free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is proven to this effect in accordance with the provisions of article 14, paragraph 3 of law 25,326. 5. SENDING MESSAGES

In order to provide you with a better service, in the future we may send you messages to confirm your registration and/or to inform you about the status of your account, and/or to notify you of changes to the terms and conditions of the “El Lodge” Sites, or to this Privacy Policy. Occasionally, we may even send you e-mails to present a product, service, information, etc. that we consider may be of interest to users of our Sites. 6. EXCEPTIONS TO OUR RESERVATION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AND OTHER INFORMATION

In compliance with our legal obligations, your Personal Information and/or any other specific information about you that we may access, intentionally or accidentally, and/or about your account, may be disclosed to third parties in order to comply with legal procedures such as a search warrant, a subpoena, a court order, or requests from administrative authorities, which may be considered valid under applicable laws. Likewise, for our protection, yours and the protection of other users of the “El Lodge” Sites, your Personal Information may also be disclosed in cases that involve the existence of an attempt to breach the security of the “El Lodge” Sites, or physical danger or threat against you, us or third parties.

 

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

In the event that “The Lodge” refers through links to advertising or third party websites, it is not obliged to control and does not control in advance, approve or make its own the services, content, data, files, products and any kind of material existing on the third party website or websites, therefore “The Hotel” will not be liable, under any circumstances, for the legality of the content of said page/s, the third party being exclusively responsible, by way of example and not limitation, for respecting the legality, morality, good customs and public order of the content, as well as ensuring that they do not infringe any rights of third parties. The existence of a hyperlink does not presuppose any kind of relationship between “The Hotel” and the owner of the website on which it is established. Therefore, the Company recommends that the User consult the privacy policies and practices of said sites.

 

10. CHANGES TO THE POLICY

The Company reserves the right to modify the Policy at any time, terms and/or conditions that the Company deems appropriate.

Such changes will be effective from the moment they are published on the Site or from the moment they are notified to the User by any means, whichever occurs first.

These rights belong exclusively to “The Hotel” or its licensors. Internet users who access this website may view the information contained therein and download or reproduce it privately on their computer system, provided that the reproduced elements are not subsequently transferred to third parties or installed on a server connected to the Internet or a local network. Without prejudice to the provisions of these Terms of Use, the distribution, modification, transfer, public communication, reproduction or any other act of part or all of the information published on the page is not permitted without prior authorization from “The Hotel”. The user must use the content and information contained on the page diligently, correctly and lawfully, and specifically, only for personal and non-commercial use, provided that the content or any mention of sources, copyright and other identifying data of the rights of “The Hotel” or third parties is not deleted or modified, that is, respecting its original form. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION

The Policy is governed by the legislation in force in the Argentine Republic, and any conflict regarding its application and interpretation is subject to the jurisdiction and competence of the Ordinary Commercial Courts of the City of Puerto Iguazú, Misiones, to the exclusion of any other jurisdiction that may apply.
